I just wanted to send you a short note to say thank you for your guidance and support over the past six months as we went through the conversion process. I didn't know quite what to expect when I arrived in Chicago, but you all made me feel very welcome and included. It was a very moving experience for me (which is probably why I might get the record for taking the longest time to get dressed and reappear after the immersion). It would be impossible for me to probably convey in words how important the event was to me, and what a positive effect it has had, and I believe, will continue to have on my life.I think the work you are doing is of inestimable value to many people, and I wish you both all of the best in these endeavours for the future. If there is any small way I can assist now or in the future, please just let me know.

Rabbi Jonathan Ginsburg B.A. in religion from the University of Chicago where he was honored as valedictory orator. His Masters degree and Rabbinic Ordination were awarded by the Jewish Theological Seminary where he won Krasne Award for outstanding student. He was a National Merit scholar and the 1974 USA National High School Debate Champion. He has been adjunct faculty of St. Catherine College and Metropolitan University, teaching Bible and Judaism. A Conservative Rabbi for 27 years, he currently serves the Ezra-Habonim, Niles Township Jewish Congregation in Skokie, IL. He has served as President of the Minnesota Rabbinic association and of the Nies Township Clergy Association
