We are so glad you are interested in our trip to Israel November 2010. We will have an amazing time.
Below find basic details and a registration form. You may also travel on your own and just purchase the land portion. You may be able to save quite a bit buying individual tickets on your own or using free miles. If you want to make your own air arrangements, we'll agree on a general time to meet in Jerusalem. We will arrange a suggested group flight as well

Monday, November 1st: Arrive, meeting and assistance, drive to Jerusalem, Shehehiyanu and walk around downtown Jerusalem,

Tuesday, November 2nd: Today we will focus on the New city and visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, the Supreme Court with its contemporary design incorporating traditional Middle Eastern motifs of domes, arches, and passageways, all set up to create interesting interplays of shadow and light, then to the Herzl Museum including spectacular audio-visual encounter with the visionary of the Jewish State..

Wednesday, November 3rd: Old city – we will begin with visit to "Ir David" or the "City of David" as it is known in English, the actual location of the Biblical City of Jerusalem captured by King David over 3,000 years ago. Deep underground, the City of David is revealing some of the most exciting archeological finds of the ancient world.
We will continue to within the walls of the Old City – city of the 3 religions, to the Kotel, the underground Western Wall tunnels, walk along the Cardo and its shops, through the Arab Bazaars and the Holy Sepulchre Church.

Thursday, November 4th:We will drive down into the Judean Desert to visit Massada then dip in the Dead Sea at Ein Gedi Spa and return to Jerusalem

Friday, November 5th: We will drive to the Judean Mountains, visit the Stalegmite cave and the Scroll of Fire Monument. Return to Jerusalem to stroll thru the Mahne Yehuda Market and drive thru Mea Shearim to see preparations for Shabbat.

Saturday, November 6th: Shabbat Services at the Ramot Synagogue followed by Kiddush after which we will continue to the Israel Museum to see the model of the city as it was 2,000 years ago, and the Shrine of the book with its ancient scrolls.

Sunday, November 7th- Drive north via the coastal road – visit the ancient Roman city of Casarea, the city that Herod the Great dedicated to Caesar Augustus more than 2,000 years ago. We will continue along the coast to Zikron Yaakov one of the first pioneer Jewish settlements established in1882 and drive through the Galilee to Tiberius .

Monday, November 8th – Today we take a jeep ride and climb up to the Golan Heights for overview then on to visit the city of Safed, center of the Kaballa and its ancient synagogues and artists galleries. Back in Tiberius we will visit the grave of the Rambam.

Tuesday, November 9th – We will cross back to the coast, visit the Crusader ruins of Acre, then view of the Bahai Gardens in Haifa and end in Tel Aviv.
